Half a million Ukrainians are infected with the AIDS virus according to WHO, at least 150 000 of them in the city of Odessa. Tens of thousands of new infections are recorded each year. Drug addicts, prostitutes, street children and gays are the most exposed, but the lack of information and collective publiic ignorance accelerate contamination in all categories.
