A house for a children’s camp has been built and opened!

We were looking forward to this visit, preparing and hoped to have time for everything! That all the furniture was already standing, and the equipment was working, and it was clean, beautiful and cozy in the house on Kinburn Spit.

After all, the guests who came to us this weekend from Germany and Kyiv are very important. These are members of the Rotary Club Neandertal, the charity association of German soldiers and police Lachen Helfen e.V. and Kyiv Multinational Rotary Club.

Thanks to the initiative and significant support of these organizations, as well as Knauf company, this two-storey house with an area of 600 square meters, which will house a charity summer camp for vulnerable children, was built by the Way Home Foundation.

During the grand opening of the camp, a memorial plaque was installed, which lists all who will make children’s dreams of a great vacation at sea come true.

It was not an easy task! But we succesed, and the house is ready for living, as well as the guests were sure. They are very pleased with the results of the joint project. There is only left a little: to finish the facade and arrange the yard so that the children fill comfortable.

Guests visited the tour of Kinburn Spit, met the sunset on the coast. They were simply amazed by such natural richness and breathtaking views. There are few such wonderful places left in Europe.

Police Officer Uwe Mainz, a member of the Board of Lachen Helfen e.V., thanked everyone who contributed to making Ukrainian children in need healthier and happier. He is sure that the young guests of the camp, who will come here next summer, will get an unforgettable experience.
