The organizers of the round table identified the obstacles in receiving the medical services for the people living in crisis. The meeting became am open space for the dialogue in order to overcome the mentioned obstacles.
One of the most difficult among the barriers is the rule not to provide primal medical assistance to the people without the identification documents. The question of providing the medical services to the Roma people was also put as an important one.
A separate theme was the medical help to the IDP families. Despite having a legislative “yes” to the free medical help to the IDPs, the rights of the mentioned group of people are not always respected.
At the end of the meeting the representatives of the project and the governmental structures made a decision to form a working group which will analyze the current situation in the area and create the proper way to have a total access to the medical services for the mentioned groups of people living in difficult life situation.
