Children from Petroverovka were given presents

153 children from the internat of Petroverovka settlement (Odessa region) received their presents , that were collected by the traditional charity marathon, organized by the “Way Home” Fund.

The longer new year holidays this yes did not allow us to finish the marathon in time – we could only organize a holiday for the orphanage children on January 23 (instead of the planned January 10). Children were waiting for us and prepared the performance. At the end of the party the children were receiving the presents!
“All of the children were happy, because they did not only receive the presents, but also could experience kindness and could believe in good and wait for the miracles.  They were so happy and were saying thank you to us for so long and I am my turn keep sharing these feelings of gratitude with all the participants of the marathon!” – said Olga Alexeeva, the organizer of the marathon and the stuff member of the “Way Home”.
Thanks to the traditional marathon, organized by the “Way Home” Odessa Charity Foundation on the New Year 530 children and young people living in difficult life circumstances have received their personal presents. These are the children from poor families, IDP families, families in crisis – the clients of the “Way Home” and (this year) children from the orphanage of Petroverovka settlement, Odessa region.
