Farewell Bell
On May 27th in all schools of Ukraine was sounded the farewell bell. For some of pupils this farewell bell was really the last – they say goodbye to school and continue their studies in secondary and higher education institutions, and for someone this moment was only the next step to other grade. Pupils of OCF “Way Home”, as well as other children and adults across the country took part in celebration of the farewell bell.
Graduating from school was the most productive throughout history of children’s department of OCF “Way Home”. In 2016, the farewell bell of Odessa secondary school №105 was attended by 21 pupils from the Foundation! Additionally we would like to thank Karim Zerman, internally displaced persons from Lugansk, who graduated from the 11th class and plans to get high education in institution. His little brother, Iliyaz, went to the 11th grade, as well as Nastia Kistina – so for next year will be more graduates. Together with Nastya, her little sisters and brother pass rehabilitation procedures in children center of the Foundation. The smallest, Yaroslava graduated from 3rd grade, brother Valentin goes to the 7th grade and Veronica that going to study at the 9th grade. Three pupils of the Foundation, sisters Elvin and Elgoun Pirverdiyev and Mariam Al-Seban also are considered to graduate – girls graduated from the 9th class, but they are not going to stop on their progress. They plan to continue their studies, but not in school, they are going to be admitted in college. We would like to mention our first graduates – Arina Vevdyuk, Andrew Kaminskiy and Nastya Pashnikova who have successfully completed the first grade!
Well, the most representative pupils of “Way Home” Foundation in next academic year will be the 8th grade, where will learn Orhan Allahverdiyev, Ziyad Al-Zaim, Vica Gurina and Oleg Saenko.
Thanks to all children for having successfully completed year in school!
Thanks to the management and teaching staff of Odessa secondary school №105 for their contribution to the education of Foundation pupils!
Thanks to the staff of Children’s Department of “Way Home” for their daily post-school working with pupils of the Foundation!
Only with joint work we can help children to become educated and interesting persons!
