Festival life: Children’s Day and Eco-festival

In the very beginning of the summer, the “Way Home” Foundation took part in two interesting city events at once.

June 5, celebrating the Children’s Day, our partner, the Public Movement “Faith, Hope, Love” organized a real holiday in the Odessa City Garden, where children and their parents were able to spend time with pleasure and benefit.

Teachers of the “Way Home” Foundation – Anastasia Tiranova-Romanchuk and Oleksandr Makarov held open master classes on pottery and jewelry making, which collected a great interest among youth of Odessa.

And in the park named after Taras Shevchenko, this weekend, the Foundation took part in the II Odessa International Eco-Festival. We successfully presented there beautiful flowers and the artesian water  “Libenthal”  from the social farm of the  “Wah Home” Foundation, as well as embroidered shirts and eco-bags from the machine embroidery studio Berehynia.ua, created by displaced women – the clients of the Foundation.

Young and adult volunteers from the “Happy Palms” Center for Internally Displaced Persons helped us sell products.
