Let’s make the children’s summer holidays the best!
June 20, 2017, the “Way Home” Fund is organizing the summer camp for the children of the Foundation. The children will spend 2 months at the sea camp site, where they will have holidays at the beach, swimming and taking part in the various interesting events.
Since 2006, the Fund is organizing the summer camps for the children from the families in difficult life circumstances. This season is the 11th, 63 people were sent to the camp during the first shift: the children living in the Fund shelter, as well as the children from the poor and large families – the clients of the Fund.
This year it was hard to finance the camp, but the administration of the camping “Golubyie Dali” (Nikolaev region, Morskoe settlement) site made a good discount for the children’s accommodation.
The mission of the summer camp of the “Way Home” Fund is to give the children the possibility to remember that they are children, the chance to forget not only about their problems, but also about their bad habits. Here they will get the comfort and warmth of the home life, support of the adults and the good food and shelter.
In order to make the camp even better, we need the table games, summer shoes, microwave and a little refrigerator. It is quite difficult for us to make it all by ourselves, so we are asking for the help of the Odessa citizens and everyone who care about the children in difficult life situation.
