Our friendship with AUCHAN
On November 18th Foundation “The Way Home” was attended by representatives of chain of hypermarkets “Auchan”.
Our guests got acquainted with the work of the Children’s Center of Education and Health “Bridge to the Future” and visited our shelter “Large Family” and Early Development Center “Smile”, talked with our pupils and watched a small performance prepared by the kids and the staff Foundation. Also, a responsible manager of “Auchan” conveyed to President OCF “The Way Home,” a check for 6000 euros – funds will be transferred to the development and support of day care centers for children from families of internally displaced persons “Sprout”, which has recently been functioning on the address: Krasnaya str., 11.
Representatives of hypermarkets “Auchan” mentioned the great work that the Foundation does for children and adolescents in difficult situations, and added that they really liked the atmosphere that prevails within the walls of “The Way Home”. Guests remarked that they hope for a long-term cooperation with “The Way Home” and pupils of the Foundation, in turn of the staff offered guests regular visits of the centers of the Foundation.
