The HIV-testing in all the first-aid centers of Odessa will be available since the end of June 2018.

May 15, 2018, the second meeting of the working group of the pilot project “Sustainability of the HIV services” took place in the “Way Home”.

The meeting was dedicated to the future implementing of the HIV testing and councelling in the first-aid centers in Odessa. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the city centers of the medical support, the city HIV/AIDS prevention center specialists, the councellors of the pilot project.  The hear of the plot project, Natalis Kitsenko, said that the project is working good and all the stages go in time. Vitali Novosvitny, the deputy head of the working group expressed hope that all the planned events will also happen in time.

Alexander Neduzhko, the consultant of the project made a report on the actual situation of the documentation supplies and the situation with the staff at the first-aid centers of Odessa, that are getting ready to open the HIV prevention offices.

Vitali Novosvitny said that they are still buying the rapid-test systems from the two manufacturers. Galina Kitsenko said that the technical equipping of the offices ia going on well.

At the end of the session, the working group decided to conduct the official opening of the city offices of the rapid HIV testing and councelling on June 25-29, 2018.
