“Way Home” shares its experience with the colleagues from Donetsk and Lugansk.

May 24, 2018, the “Way Home” Charity Foundation was visited by the similar organizations from Donetsk and Lugansk region. The visit was organized in frames of the UN in Ukraine project for the encounting of the successful experience of decentralization reform amoun the social services organizations.

The “Way Home” Foundation is one of the organisatons that was considered successful in the field of social services – being one of the leading NGOs of the city. The guests from the west of Ukraine spent 5 days in Odessa, one of them was dedicated to the Fund. The specialists of the “Big Family” center of the Fund shared their experience working with the youth and teenagers from the difficult families. Also, guests had visited the center “Bridge to the Future”, where children themselves showed their life and schedule, the pottery studio, the sports hall and other places of the center.

The second part of the day was dedicated to the “Open Doors” Center of the Fund, where the Fund works with the street children and youth, – and the “Sprout” Center for the smallest children from the IDP families.

At the end of the day, the guests thanked the “Way Home” specialist for sharing their work and noted the high quality of service of the Fund in general.
